AND, btw, I have that “Hi. I’m Mat.” doormat. It came with our apt, and has sat outside our door, ever since, never stolen, and we didn’t even buy it in the first place! Maybe that’s the advantage of living on the top floor? I am sorry that you are a victim of theft AND vandalism, but at least you have found the humor. 🙂
