Sparkly Soul Headband Giveaway

Earlier this week, I told you about my Apprentice-style competition at work and asked for your help by watching my team’s video. Thank you to everyone who clicked and commented — I appreciate it!

If you need a little extra push, or just like to win really pretty, fun, incredibly awesome things — how about a giveaway?

It is well documented on this blog that I always wear headbands to work out and run races. Over the last three years, I’ve collected a lot of headbands from a few different brands. My most recent headband obsession is Sparkly Soul.

The headbands are (obviously) sparkly, they’re cute, they stay in place and they’re just a lot of fun. I own two; pink and blue, both in the thin style. For the record, I had a really hard time deciding between blue and purple for my second one . . . so I think we all know what my third will be. I wore my pink headband to the Read Write Run 5K, often referred to as the race I won (really I placed 2nd in my age group. Minor details).

Before the race, I struck up a conversation with some people who asked where my headband was from. When I told them it was Sparkly Soul they told me they know the company’s founder! And then when I said my name is Dori they laughed. Apparently that is her name too?! I wonder how she spells it.

Anyway, this headband made me win the race.

Not really, but it did keep my hair off my face, kept me looking good (helpful when a cute guy spoke to me after the race. Sorry Andy. I love you), helped antisocial me make some friends and was just a lot of fun to wear. This photo is me after the race, so you can see that the headband held my hair in place QW (quite well).

They come in lots of fun colors, as well as a thick and a thin style. I told Sparkly Soul about my competition and they agreed to donate a headband to one lucky winner!

iPhone 4S Siri Spoof – I Need Your Help!

Hi friends. I need a huge favor!

For a work competition, my team created an Apple iPhone 4S Siri Spoof featuring one of our products (my obsession, actually), our Anti-Aging BB Cream. Without getting too annoying, I’ll just say I no longer wear moisturizer + foundation because this product does it all so much better in one step. ANYWAY.

Our online marketing group into two teams in an Apprentice-type competition comprised of multiple challenges. The winning team gets prizes, although I don’t know yet what they are.

For our second challenge (my team won the first!) we were instructed to make a video featuring one of our company’s products. The goal is to see which is the more viral video.

We’re judged on two factors:

  1. How many views the video gets.
  2. The number of quality comments on the video’s YouTube page.

That means I could really use your help. Please watch the video, share with your friends, post on your social feeds, leave comments.

We have one week to get more views and quality comments than the other team we are competing against. After you watch it, you can click the “Share” button on top of the video to share it on Facebook, Twitter and Google+. Any and all help is very much appreciated!

Oh, and I appear naked in this video, if that influences your decision to watch. It is a play on the Naked Chef Challenge I participated in a couple of years ago.

Thank you for your help!
