I realize I sounded like I lost it in last week’s post. I was overwhelmed, but the week ended up working out just fine. I’ve got one more busy week before I go away for the weekend and get a much needed rest – rest from working out, rest from busy weekends, rest from technology, rest from wedding planning. It will just be me, the Ander and the pup in a hotel. I can’t wait.
Until then…

A perfect week and it wasn’t even bad! Really, the only times I didn’t feel stressed last week were the times I was exercising. Teaching my second spin class went well and I promise I’ll talk more about that soon and add a tab to this blog with all the info about my teaching schedule, playlists and more.
I’m happy with my workouts and thankful (I know I keep saying this) for the Refine Resolution Challenge for forcing me to get to classes I otherwise would have skipped. Accountability is a very good thing.
How are your weekly workouts going during the coldest and most annoying month of the year?

February 18, 2013 at 5:26 pm (12 years ago)Yes, the challenge is the best thing ever even though I really can’t walk right now! Next month should be interesting when I have to do 14 classes and am away the last week of March! Glad you have a much needed vacay coming up too.

February 18, 2013 at 7:24 pm (12 years ago)This is the reason I’ve been spending A LOT of time in hot yoga. It’s the only workout I look forward to going to in this chilly weather. Thankfully Spring is coming soon and I’m clinging fast to the thought of warm weather (albeit rainy)

February 19, 2013 at 7:32 pm (12 years ago)I have not been running as much during the cold months. I am only averaging about 8 miles per week. I have been taking advantage of the colder weather by staying in the gym a little longer doing squats and lunges to help strengthen my legs for spring and my next race which will be a 5k. I have a couple of goals set I hope to reach by the end of spring. Once the weather warms a little I’ll hit the road running again.

February 22, 2013 at 7:39 pm (12 years ago)I had no idea you were teaching spin classes now! Congrats! Wish I could take one while I’m in town in March but right now PT says no way! Maybe we’ll see each other at Refine.
