Placing Bets on My Misfortune

My family has zero faith in me.

Just because the following items I have owned were all lemons . . .

  • TV
  • Plastic cup
  • iPod
  • iPod Nano
  • BlackBerry
  • BlackBerry
  • Macbook
  • Macbook
  • Bed risers
  • Droid Incredible
  • Droid Incredible
  • Droid Incredible
  • Droid Incredible
  • Droid Incredible
  • Droid Incredible

. . . and just in my recent past I suffered from various types of injury or illness . . .

  • Cartilage
  • Joint
  • Bursa
  • Tendon
  • Tummy

. . . they now place bets on me.

I want to get in on this. I might as well profit from my own misfortune.

Check out my new post on NBC New York in Dori’s Quest: Core Fusion Cardio. I review one of my all-time favorite classes!

Poor thing! Sometimes the medical and technology gods don’t smile kindly on us!

Hahahahaha that is priceless. You seem to have some bad luck with electronics, eh? Better than bad luck in *other departments* of your life though, right? 😉

Haha this is hysterical. If it makes you feel any better- I stepped on my $2000 MacBook and it cracked in half, and my mother once accidentally roasted her cell phone in the oven at 400*f.

That’s awesome!!! If you win the pool you can pay for the next thing you lose/break!

I feel your pain though, I think I’m the first person ever to break a mac book in 3 days..

Maybe I’m oversimplifying things here, but couldn’t you get a different type of phone instead of the Droid Incredible? There must be other phones that Verizon offers, even if they aren’t as “cool”, that work better than these 6 failures..

I swear everything I touch turns to crap too!! My mom made fun of me SO much until her blackberry crashed on her. I was at Verizon ALL THE DAMN TIME! This year more things have failed on me or such bad luck as befallen me that I just expect it!
