Very exciting news: I wrote a post for NBC New York!
It’s called How I Got into the Greatest Marathon in the World and it is all about my experience qualifying for the 2011 ING NYC Marathon.
As of this minute (6:32 am on Wednesday, March 9) 49 people have Liked this post on Facebook! I wish I knew who these 48 other people were so I could hug them all. And ask if any of them have a crush on me.
This post is part of a brand new NBC New York blog called Go Healthy New York. It is the next step on my quest for world dom– I mean, it is an incredible opportunity!
I plan to contribute regularly. We even have a great idea for a little series I will write there. I will share the details with you when it happens. You might even see some other familiar blogger names popping up as well.
One last note– those of you in school, don’t scoff at unpaid internships. My 2004 summer internship is the reason I am writing this post today.
Thank you so much to everyone for your support! The outpouring from my friends and family and strangers and acquaintances on Facebook and Twitter has been nothing short of outstanding and it means so much to me, I can’t sufficiently put it into words. Just know that I thank you.

That is so cool! Congratulations!
